Put the Power in Your Feet MP3 tracks
Product Description for MP3s
Put the Power in Your Feet is a 50s style 3-part harmony piece, in which the 3 parts are easy to learn because they are so independent (audio sample below). The accompaniment track features a 50s-style Hammond organ, so you will be taken back in time! The piece will start conversations among your students about wanting to ride bikes to get around to help the planet. There is opportunity for some jitterbug or swing dancing during the instrumental solo. Put those poodle skirts on and dance your bobby socks off! Your kids will be boppin’ around to this fun favorite!
This is a great song for 3rd-8th grade.
This download includes an accompaniment MP3, and a full performance MP3 with vocals, organ, bass, guitar, and drums.
We suggest that you use the full performance track to help your students learn the song, and the accompaniment track for your students to practice with; you can also use the accompaniment track at your concert if you don’t have an accompanist.
